How To Travel To North-Eastern Sri Lanka
If you are planning a tour of India and are looking to explore North-Eastern Sri Lanka, then make sure that you plan on visiting the native people in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is one of the 28 states that make up the country of India. As a tourist traveling through India, if you’re planning to visit Tamil Nadu, there are a few ways you can arrive there including plane, taking the railway system or by taking a bus.
The native people there are called Tamils or Tamilians, and they can be found there and also spread throughout much of North Eastern region of Sri-Lanka. Most of the native population of Tamil Nadu practice Hinduism as their religion. These people were actually found in other areas of the world, dating back to the 19th century. Their colonies were said to have been found in places including the UK, Canada, South Africa, Singapore and Malaysia.
A few things to see in Tamil include Mamallapuram, the temples that are carved out of granite rock, Chidambaram said to be one of the more important temples because of things such as its antiquity, the ways that worship is practiced there, and many of the traditional festivals that are held there. There is a whole cultural experience that awaits you when you make you way to the state of Tamil Nadu, in North Eastern Sri-Lanka.
